Snowball continued running, before he came to the end of the hallway. He slid to a stop, letting out a slight giggle. "This place has huge halls! I could get lost if I get to far away from you." He said with a smile. He turned around and the smile faded quickly. He was alone. He just talked to a wall. That wasn't a good thing for his sanity. He grumbled and started running back. He had to locate his friend.
A few moments past and he skidded past a door, catching sight of Sebastian. He moved in slowly, not making a noise and watched him. He noticed the break in the wall, and the perpetually broken nature of it. "That's a Shame, really. Such nice architecture, marred by such carelessness in upkeep." He said with a sigh. "It's too bad your mind isn't strong enough to fix it." He said with a sly smile.

The feline hollow had returned. And he was none the happier to give the claw yet another insult. "That's a shame, really. Such nice architecture, marred by such carelessness in upkeep. It's too bad your mind isn't strong enough to fix it..."
Sebastian had wondered if the cat had enough insults to throw as he did lives. All of which, disappointingly, ended up being the same as the last.
"I'm somewhat convinced that something else is at work here," he could only reply, pacing over to what appeared to be a door at the end of the lengthy science corridor.
Now the lightning claw had found himself standing at the entrance to the science corridor's final room, which would no doubt provide an interesting sight or two. This was what he believed to be the entrance to the Belmont Laboratory.
But it was locked, he realized, as a quick jiggle of the doorknob told him that it wouldn't budge. Slight annoyance settled in, and he was quite honestly confused by the series of roadblocks that he couldn't mentally remove.
"My earlier statement? Scratch that. Something doesn't want us in here," he decided, feeling along the surface of the door. It was steel, which had caught the young man's interest: never in his twelve years at the academy did they ever install steel doors. Mahogany, stone and brick architecture was the school's theme!

Snowball listened to the boys theory. He let out a bored yawn, which was obviously fake. "Well, stop playing it uuup. Pull out your fancy glowstick and cut the door dooown." He extended his letters out of boredom. He sighed and stood up, looking at it. "I, afterall, am just a cat. I cant possibly break through steel.". He said, leaning against a wall and licking his hand, brushing it over his face.
He thought about his tail, it could probably cut through the Steel, but didn't wanna risk breaking it or chipping it. He wasn't about to harbor an imperfection for this Claw. He laughed aloud at the thought of this, looking over at Sebastian. "Well, dear boy, are you gunna open it or not?"
(( crap post. My muse called in sick...
