"Sirens don't need to STEAL love... Love still exists, and if theres someone to convey love, then it's always readily available. Claws and Leeches don't have to kill. That's a character choice. Emotions are abundant for Hollows. Once we rid the world of the viruses, they'll be out of the equation. No one will deny that. Beasts have absolutely no choice but to kill. It's how we were programmed in this world. I don't enjoy it, but I don't lose sleep over surviving." She muttered, barely loud enough for the others to hear.
She listened as the other two talked about a book. She stayed still on her branch, her arms crossed across her chest, her anger starting to subside. She still regarded the two with hate, however. She watched them closely, knowing that even the smallest display of an opening could mean an attack from either one. Her instincts told her that an attack may happen, one way or another...

Sebastian winced slightly as the air grew tense. Sophia clearly didn't like either of the two, and it appeared that if she had to she wouldn't spare a thought to murder either of them. He frowned, half-wishing that they could all be civilized for just a moment. That was impossible, though. Civilized behavior simply didn't exist anymore.
He studied the hollow as he spoke, identifying the ancient piece of literature as the fabled 'alpha-omega' lexicon. Sebastian, of course, double-taked. He had heard of this before, he knew its significance. He wasn't sure if it existed anymore, but he had heard rumors - like the book being spotted in some far-off town before being swarmed by viruses, fading into obscurity, before resurfacing in Everai or perhaps Defray. The juiciest and most detailed piece of gossip, however, mandated that the book was in possession of a wise historian or book-keeper involved with certain interest groups. There were two major things he knew about that book: its contents transcribed the language of the angels, and it probably brought nothing but hell and chaos in its wake. Ironic, considering the holy nature of the text. Like the holy grail or the ark of the covenant, the alpha-omega lexicon sparked deadly crusades.
"...yeah. I have no idea what you're talking about," he lied, looking away as inconspicuously as he could. He wanted nothing to do with that book, and he certainly didn't want anyone else getting killed in search of it. Sebastian wasn't about to be the precursor to another religious kerfuffle, even though the contents of the book interested him greatly. "Good luck on your search, though."
