-fails at coming up with interesting thread titles-
Hey all, I'm Aelin, and as you might have guess by the fact that I'm posting in the "introductions" section, I'm new here. Pleased to meet you all -bows-.
Ah, about me...not sure what to say. I love anime, but I love manga even more, and have wasted a good portion of my life reading more series than I care to count. Current favorite? Probably Code:Breaker, though Pandora Hearts comes close. Man, I really need to catch up on that...and all the other weekly shounen...and Ao no Exorcist while I'm at it...bah, so behind. >.<' I'm also, more than anything else, a JRPG addict. I love them more than I care to admit, particularly two certain series: Tales and Fire Emblem. I love the .hacks as well, but Tales will always be my absolute favorite. Tales of Abyss has a tendency to control my life every now and then, so if there's a day when I'm not on, chances are I'm either a) at college, or b) having waaay too much fun with my 10x experience playthrough. I am sooo hitting lvl 200 this time. Ah-hem. Right, moving on. >.>
I like to write, but I'm afraid I'm not quite as good as I would want to be. Hopefully the writing courses this year will help with that. I've noticed (by stalking the other into posts) that there are a few people here striving to be novelists, but while I have many ideas thought out, I sadly am not one of them; I lack the confidence to start one. That's likely one of the reasons I have taken rp up again: to help my lack of confidence in my writing.
As for the personal, real-life information, I'm a twenty-year-old junior in college, and female. I live in my parents' basement with three cats (Asia, Chamberlain, and Gracie), two HUGE dogs (Keeva and Lea), and a gaggle of younger siblings (two sisters, one brother; my other brother just went off to school this year). Needless to say it's pretty crowded and noisy here, but I don't really mind. It's better than drunks yelling in the parking lot at three am, something I had to put up with annoyingly often when I lived in the dorms.
Not much else to say, I just wish to repeat that it's (hopefully XD) a pleasure to meet you. I hope I can have a good roleplay experience here. ^-^
