I am one with the world, as the world is one with me Angel gently materialized once again as his data soon began to recall itself to his location. The place where he met his first friend again, now meeting another of his friends, Leanne. What would she do? slap him? hit him? verbally harass? who would know , his absence from everyone wasn't a regret, but he felt bad for the ones he hurt. He never even told Ayame or Leanne he was leaving. Months? weeks? who knew, but Angel gained some of his memories, recalling his full appearance as well. Angel reread the letter he sent to Leanne once more, It sounded like he wanted to confess to her, but he just invited her to come to his location. Great, so I have an angry friend, and someone who thinks I'll be confessing to them.
Angel sighed as he took a glance at the deep blue, "Hmm, how do they feel? after I left? did they ever notice?" Angel shrugged as he awaited for a reply, or someone to appear. A lot had happen, but he could never tell anyone yet... Especially after the war. "Dear Leanne, I'm sorry for my leave of absence, and I apologize for the things I did, the stories you may have heard, some are true. But the things I did were for a cause, Understand I killed or harmed no one innocent, and I would never hurt you. Meet me at the shoreline docks, I need to tell you something important."

we put her down in a shallow grave she wears a dress like a body bag every day Leanne sighed as she made her way along the noiseless beach. It was funny...she should be used to it by now, but as she passed along the lapping waves, she missed the sound of... Oh, what were those things again? Sea...seagulls! That's right! During the time she'd lived in the 'real world' her and her mother had lived at an old house near a beach, with the cries of seagulls sounding through their open windows and carried on the sea breeze.
The girl suddenly groaned aloud, irritated with herself. Those days were gone, so what good did those memories do? ...Why was she suddenly feeling so nostalgic now?
...Maybe it was that message that she'd received. It was from that Siren she'd known a while ago. ...He'd said he'd be waiting for her here, waiting to tell her something. She groaned again, but couldn't help a slight smile. Even after vanishing for so long, the first thing he did was cause her trouble. But then again...she had to admit that in some strange way she was genuinely curious, and looking forward to the meeting. If he was really there, that is.
Glancing around, she finally reached the docks. As she started walking over the wood, she noticed a figure. He looked...a bit different. Older, perhaps - something that was very unusual in world where people did not age. But there was no mistaking the figure. It was indeed him.
Putting one hand on her hip, she strode up to where he was waiting. "Hey." She greeted simply, her lips hiding a very small smile. "It's been a while. So, explain. What was so important that you'd appear again and call me way out here?" at least this way she won't have to run away and she can keep her regrets at bay every day

I am one with the world, as the world is one with me Angel smirked slightly, "I missed you too!" Angel stuck his toungue at her playfully as he took a quick glance around the area, Alone, good... Angel nodded, as he crossed his arms. "That's a very nice way to greet your long lost friend?" Angel nshrugged as he paced back and forth, curious on her thoughts of his disappearance. Sure he wasn't gone for more than a year, but it must have been noticable... "ive called you here for I guess three reasons I suppose." Angel shrugged again as he kept his eyes on the sky.
Was he the only who changed in this world?
Shaking his thoughts off, he turned his attention to leanne, thinking of his words before speaking. "First of all, I've gained some of my memories I suppose....and I've attained my natural appearance, obviously." Angel turned slightly as he scratched the back of his head, "I think I may have some clues onto the virus's core problems, and maybe why they run out of energy so quickly..." Angel shrugged as he continued on the lecture.
"And I kinda....MIssed you..." Angel slightly blushed as he stared at the ground. "So yeah...."

we put her down in a shallow grave she wears a dress like a body bag every day "I missed you too!" Angel answered with a smirk, sticking out his tongue in a playful gesture. As he continued and shrugged, Leanne just shrugged as well, giving a smirk of her own.
As he momentarily watched the sky, she waited, curious as to what he had to say after having been gone for all that time. She crossed her own arms, listening intently. She blinked as he finished listing his first reason. "Ah, so that's what you really look like, then? I'm glad it wasn't just my memory failing me." Of couse - aging was impossible in this world. But when she'd seen him before, she'd sworn that he'd looked younger. Even still, what he was saying now was still a bit out of the ordinary. Still, she supposed, there wasn't very much about this boy that was normal, and that wasn't really a bad thing.
That thought stayed in her mind as he continued. For instance, most others, previously herself included, only had interest in destroying the Viruses. He was different - he still saw them as human beings, victims to be sympathized with and assisted. If almost anyone else had said what he'd just had, she would've doubted there worlds, but with him...there was a chance he knew what he was talking about when it came to looking at Viruses differently.
She blinked in surprise at his next words, though, the boy repeating again that he missed her. This time, there was a more serious, almost embarrassed, look on his face. She couldn't help another brief, though not ill-natured, playful smirk. "Hmm...I suppose I missed you, a tad." She couldn't help teasing him a bit, but then her expression shifted to a more serious one. "I am glad that you're still in one piece. I couldn't help but wonder what happened to you when you just disappeared like that." In a world like this one, where life was so fragile and coveted, one never knew whether or not they'd see their loved ones again after departing. It was easy to fear the worst.
"So, let me in on it. What are these clues you've discovered about the Viruses?" Her expression moved quickly back to her usual aloof smile. at least this way she won't have to run away and she can keep her regrets at bay every day

Angel nodded, waiting for a chance to speak. His eyes burning with curiosity. "Well you see, There are a lot of reports I made on the viruses, but I guess mainly, I think they made planning an attack on us." Angel kept his focus on the ground, "After our invasion of hive, I had to make our disappearance, so I....Led the viruses away." Angel nodded, "Have you ever wondered, If I was different? From everyone else?" Angel winced as he asked his question. "There have been reports that people spotted me in areas I never even heard of, Killing people and stealing their chips." Angel nodded as he activated his eye piece, projecting a 3d screen with images of a look-alike Angel, but in different clothing. Although I discussed this with her, I can't keep secrets from Leanne. Angel nodded again as he crossed his arms, "I don't understand these reports, but I wonder if you came across it? or heard these rumors." Angel shrugged as he tapped his foot.
Why of all people, would this Teen, with no insight of who he was, become famous?

we put her down in a shallow grave she wears a dress like a body bag every day⚜ Leanne listened intently as Angel spoke. An attack? That was alarming, but not necessary surprising. Rather, it was unavoidable really, wasn't it? It had been all along. The amount of retained intelligence seemed to very somewhat, but many Viruses seemed to lack a real capacity for rational thought. It seemed a bit unlikely that they could plan something out in great detail, themselves, but there was so much that what still unknown about then...including the identity and plans of the 'puppeteer' that was controlling them - the being who was likely their real enemy.
⚜ Recalling memories of the hive invasion as he spoke of it, the Leech absently scratched the back of her head. She looked up though at his next words. "Different...do you really have to ask?" She smirked teasingly, but then continued with a more serious tone as he finished, the girl realizing what he was referring to.
⚜ She blinked in slight surprise at the projection, but then crossed her arms as well, giving a slight nod. "Those rumors, hmm? I did hear something about a Siren who fit your description, behaving violently for reasons aside from feeding. But I never believed them for one single reason - you aren't the type of person who would do that." She smiled as she finished, her voice confident and casual as if everything was really that simple.
at least this way she won't have to run away and she can keep her regrets at bay every day [/sup] [/div]

Angel smiled as he shrugged his thoughts off. "Thanks, that actually made me feel a bit better.." Angel nodded as he took a step towards her with a smile. "Can I ask you a favor..?" Angel nodded as he felt his hands together. His abilities were locked away, until he could open the memory fragment, but what if he discovered something...something unique... "...." Angel nodded as he awaited a response.

we put her down in a shallow grave she wears a dress like a body bag every day⚜ Leanne kept her arms crossed, nodding in the boy's direction. "Good. Don't let things like that get to you. There are all sorts of crazy things in this world. If you don't believe in yourself, what can you believe in?" She wondered aloud, an aloofness still in her voice despite the slight smile on her lips.
⚜ Of course, the rumors were unnerving, but until she saw something concrete, something with her own eyes, that would be all they were in her eyes. Rumors. She'd worked with this Siren before. She'd meant her words - he wasn't the type of person she'd believe as someone like the one painted in those rumors.
⚜ Jostled out of her thoughts, she blinked down at him again. "A favor? Let's hear it." She prompted, shuffling her feet restlessly. "I ain't got anything better to do, so if you've got something interesting you can count me in." After all, her last mission with him had been both interesting and entertaining, something you can't say about too many ways to spend time in this world.

Angel smiled as he placed his arms behind his head again. "I suppose.... but who do you believe in?" Angel stared at her with curiosity, interested in her thoughts. It seemed as if he never tried to bond with her, or maybe she didn't let him...Angel thought about this for moments as he heard her speak again.
"Hrm....", Angel walked slightly towards the edge of the beach, staring out into the endless stream. Or so it seemed to him as if. "Could you help me find that rumored.....Look-alike? " Angel smirked weak-heartedly as he turned his attention back to her.
"I don't want people hurt because....of me..." In a way this made sense to Angel, but yet it sounded pretty dumb, "As in, if someone is taking my appearance and attacking people, it IS MY FAULT RIGHT!?" Angel placed a hand on his chest as he nodded to himself once more. "So I promised to help anyone I can anytime I can!" Angel nodded and smiled at her.

we put her down in a shallow grave she wears a dress like a body bag every day⚜ "I suppose.... but who do you believe in?"
⚜ Leanne blinked at the question, momentarily caught off guard. She never liked talking about herself much...perhaps, because in some sense, she didn't, well... understand herself all that well. While she never voiced the thought consciously, she purposely kept her distance from everyone else to avoid becoming vulnerable in such a world where everything could be taken away in an instant, and that included not getting close to herself.
⚜ But, not wanting to think about such things, she merely put another smile back on. "What do I believe in?" She gave a mock snort. "I don't believe or disbelieve in anything. I'm merely an observer." There was an odd grin on her face as she spoke, a hint of bitterness there despite its bright wideness.
⚜ But dropping that thought, she listened to Angel again as he spoke. She considered her response for a just a moment, before giving a nod. "I don't see how it's your fault if someone's out there destroying things in your name. After all, it's not like it's not like you gave them permission. But sure. I have to admit, I'm rather curious as to what's going on, myself." This was all so like him. She couldn't help but smile again, this time slightly more genuinely.

Angel nodded as he changed the topic. "I want a partnership with you, in order to help me with the research and other stuff." Angel shrugged as he held out his small book with a card in it. [[Assuming if Ayame made a pactio, otherwise it's just a random person.]] Angel nodded as he put it away. "A pactio, a contract between us."

we put her down in a shallow grave she wears a dress like a body bag every day⚜ Leanne blinked at his words as the subject shifted, never having heard the term before.
⚜ A partnership? "A...'pactio'?" She wondered, the second bit aloud. She stared at the book in his hands and the card tucked away in it. While not understanding the details, she could grasp that it must refer to some sort of allegiance, or, as he'd already said, a partnership.
⚜ "A contract, huh?" She repeated as he continued. Well...maybe that wouldn't be so bad. There were many worse people who she could align herself with. She wasn't one who considered herself to need either the company nor the help of others. She saw herself as a lone wolf...something of a rebel without a cause. Yet, there was no denying that her current life was dull, too. So perhaps... Angel always meant well; he always tried to do the right thing. And spending time with him had never failed to be entertaining, at the least. She considered for a moment longer.
⚜ Eventually, she nodded, passing him a slight smile. "As long as this doesn't involve legal binding or physical pain, I'm in." She decided, giving a playful wink.
