Fire the Cannon // Requests for Roles !!

Hi~ I promise I'll get roleplaying soon, but I just wanna get this up for others too look at first I guess I don't mind if no one replies. But I want some characters to be, err... related to Ace. In most senses, not "related" familially, but in other ways. So if you're interested in filling a role, it'd be muchly appreciated and all you have to do is pick which and explain on this thread what you think we can do with it, and then we can get plotting Or if you even want to make another character to fill a role... well, I'd be even more appreciative then!

Anyways, roles are:

That Person that Ace Really Hates with the Burning Passion of a Thousand Suns (and vice versa) : I mentioned in his app somewhat vaguely how he has a longtime feud with someone that he must kill, and this someone feels that Ace must be killed too. The reasons why are foggy-- we would have to plot them out, but Ace is kind of a bad guy, so it could just be Justice/Morality on your character's side, versus Ace's immorality and unscrupulous nature which makes some kind of death match grudge between them. Honestly, I just love the idea of two people trying to scratch each other's eyes out but never quite succeeding.

Members of Ace's "pack"~ -- For now, let's say two or three I probably won't get any, BUT THAT IS OKAY WITH ME Ace got sick of A. being alone and B. dealing with the authorities and vigilantes and having a difficult kill, so he created a group for equally unscrupulous people!! How creative is that, ohohoho. His group is generally loyal to each other… in fact, if someone defies the group or Ace, they kill them… and their goal is basically to survive through any means necessary, which includes stealing energy. It’s not very organized, but yeah, the point is to attack in small groups for a better effect.

Ace’s sister – Older or younger, I don’t mind ~ A long-lost sister to send him reeling! He will probably be all talkative and overprotective and dumb about it because he doesn’t want her to see who he is but he wants to protect her so she doesn’t fall victim. Or if she’s innocent or something, cue murdering people and offering her their bodies/chips/energy. At the same time, he might get all nervous and fidgety and just ditch her, so... yeah, lots of opportunities for drama here.

Reading over your request thread, I was thinking that Sofia might fit the enemy role.

She's another Claw, an Antivirus member, and fits the 'justice/morality' archetype that you mentioned. Like him, she's decided that she wants to keep living in the new world despite its flaws, and wants to see it become somewhere fit to live one day. But it sounds like they go about that in somewhat opposite ways. She also likes to downplay the darker side of the world a bit for her own selfish reasons, so she'd naturally hate someone who has embraced that side of it somewhat and who seems to be able to kill without much guilt - they would essentially represent exactly what she tries to deny.

Like you said, any specific feud would have to plotted out, but I think there might be potential there. What do you think?

Yeah, it does seem like that sort of thing! If she's trying to make the world a better place, killing him would definitely be on the road to doing that~ So maybe she tried to kill him a while back after seeing him do some bad things, and he was annoyed because it ended up being a challenge, and from there it became a common, regular thing and then sort of like a battle for pride? On the other side, while they fight they probably have that whole discourse about "I DON'T APPROVE OF WHAT YOU'RE DOING" etc ? I think that's great >w< Thank you~

Do we want to start with their first encounter, or should we start the first thread afterwards and during a new conflict with them already established as enemies? :3

We should do the one where they meet so in later threads we'll have a basis for why they hate each other. He would hang out in the Weeping Canyons a lot, so maybe while she was traversing through there she spotted him doing bad things, etc. Urmm... could you start it, mayhap? ouo

Sounds good^^ There are quite a bit of Viruses around the Weeping Canyon area lately, so she could easily be there for a mission.
