Here lay Autumn Pass with such beauty in its colors. It equated to the real worlds season change. However, there was something here that was terribly out of place as the winds shook the leaves gently. It was Tyger and his odd colors scheme that was more fitted to being camouflaged in a snow setting. The bright red and gold leaves didn't do well for matching with his fur. However, the ambitious feline had hardly a regard to dangers of this world anymore, figuring that when his time came it would. This wasn't a particularly dangerous area anyway, perhaps he even would meet someone.
He loved taking long walks at his old house, in the real world, along the bricked path with all the trees giving the area a nice shaded protection from the sun. However, this was all in the past, in his fading memories. He took the walks with Ally. Tyger felt his wedding ring, which he would never let get away from him. However, the facts were inevitable that Ally was now a virus and there wasn't much he could do. There were no advances in this virtual world to “cure” the said viruses.
Sometimes his mind wandered because of how real everything looked. There was no mistaking it that Tyger's mind does drift a lot, and as far as he's concerned, this is the reality. There was one thing about the “virtual world” everyone looked forward to, why they played video games. You had multiple lives, multiple tries. This world, you had one go at it. Failure wasn't an option, this was real.

Autumn time, or at least that's what this sad excuse of a world registered. He wondered if it actually understood that it was Autumn, or it just registered because it said so. It got it all pretty accurate, the colors were the same, the breeze felt nice, but still to Zeno it never felt the same. No matter how it tried to hide it, this world wasn't his world, it wasn't the world nearly everyone missed, in the end it was all just a lie. If he even wanted to, Zeno could perceive everything else as being winter or summer rather than fall, but why not humor the system every now and then?
Popping out of the scenery he saw someone who would never fit in in this setting, a tiger white as snow. Beasts were always seen as energy thirsty and rash by Zeno, but then again in this world pretty much everyone had to be, Zeno himself had to admit he craved energy, but he wasn't a savage, he wasn't going to leave random people for dead to feed his own needs. Well it wasn't fair to judge this person, he was there just as peaceful as Zeno was himself. He nodded toward the tiger, "Good day." he said politely.

Alyssa strode slowly through the Pass, rightfully named after the Perpetual Autumn state it was stuck in. "Autumn should fade into winter... It's only natural." Her voice was a raspy whisper. She looked behind herself where blades of grass and roots of trees held a slight frost over them. Her distortion was weak currently, as she was suppressing it. She wished she hadn't left as much as she did, it would be too easy for others to tell that she was a Virus.
She turned, a voice gracing her ears saying simply two words, 'Good day'. They weren't spoken toward her, the man was facing away from her. She shifted slightly, quietly, to see if she could tell who or what the man was talking to. A white and black pattern came into view, and she was almost surprised by the realization of none other than Tyger. She shifted almost uneasily, her mind fighting with itself, each side fighting to take control. Alyssa's normal side didn't want to hurt Tyger, but the Virus in her wanted to frost both of the people over, and turn them into viruses.
Finally, after a few moments, the Rational Alyssa won, and she stepped into view slowly. "Hello." She said quietly, her voice still a whisper. While Alyssas rational side had control, she was still a virus, and the distortion was slowly seeping into the area, the grass around her feet frosting over. "Im sorry to intrude... I just..." She paused, unsure of what she was doing here. "Wanted to see a friendly face."

Something disrupted this scene as someone spoke to Tyger. It was strangely polite as far as the persons mannerisms went. He didn't mind being stuck in a perpetual Autumn. It was rather soothing to the feline actually. The soft breeze was relaxing in a way. The entire scene brought back those blissful memories of the before time and made it quite easier to recall the blurred memories
“It's typically always a good day” Tyger quietly commented stating the obvious lack of disastrous weather. “It's nice to meet someone who isn't eager to take my head off for them to mount over their fireplace though.” He looked almost delighted that some people were still sane in such an insane world. “I-I'm Tyger...” he said softly, as he looked up to the trees. He then looked curious, as he waited for the other party to introduce themselves.
Tyger's tail flickered back and forth in delight about seeing Zeno. His eyes widened however, when Alyssa came into the picture. He took a few steps back, as he messed with the straps that held his assault rifle close to him. “A-Ally?” he asked, his tail starting to droop. He didn't know whether he should be happy or alarmed, after all he knew his wife was a virus. LOST to viruses. Kept ringing throughout the felines mind.

His words were true, there was no sign of negative weather whatsoever, which instead of making things better just made it obvious that things were too off. His name was Tyger, it was a fitting name considering his appearance, he was much more tiger than human, but it wasn't anything entirely new, everyone around here now looked different than any regular person should, Zeno himself had wings after all as did many people. The stutter made it obvious that he was more of the nervous type, that erased any fear that he might jump at him, unless it was the kind of nervous before somebody did something bad, but he doubted it. "I'm Zeno." Zeno was fairly pleased that he got to meet Tyger so peacefully, it seemed he felt the same. But things changed mood for Zeno quickly.
He turned to see the girl. the girl that gave him an uneasy feeling, making it directly obvious what she was, a virus. He could feel the distortion, as small as it was, and the girl felt cold, as cold as Zeno was himself when he was in the mood to be. However, unlike any virus, this one didn't attack him upon sight. No, instead she stood in a human form, speaking as if she wasn't the vile things that they were meant to be. Zeno had never met her in his life here or before, so he wasn't the familiar face, Tyger must have been which was confirmed by his reaction and knowing her name. Seeing her, knowing what she was Zeno was sure, Tyger didn't attack her either, everyone attacked viruses upon sight, it was almost rule number one here. The fact that neither of them did anything made Zeno nervous, he wasn't sure what to do. He clenched his fist and forced a polite response, "Hello..."

Alyssa shifted slightly. "Tyger..." She said softly, memories of their walks radiating in her mind. It had been just the two of them. Then, after a small while, Rosie joined them. Alyssas face became almost worried when she realized that the little girl wasn't with Tyger. "Where is Rosie? I wanted to say hello to her..." She asked, a sorrowful look in her eyes.
She looked over at Zeno, and frowned slightly. "You're being defensive... I apologize that my presence is making you uneasy..." She said. She wished she could shut off her corruption entirely, and could speak normally. The gravelly whisper that she spoke on never helped her fit in, and caused people to get scared, or defensive like this man.
She held her hands up, as if to say 'I won't hurt you, it's alright.' "Please... I am just here to see Tyger for a few minutes before I do lose control..." She said, her eyes closing hard and a hand coming up to her head. "You're not going to want to attack me... I can tear you apart without a second thought." She said, her voice harsher than before. Finally, she looked up at Tyger, her eyes wide, pleading. "Im... Sorry..."

Meeting Zeno probably would have turned out nice, however Ally appeared out of no where. Tyger was in a trance like state as he stared at Ally, trying to look at her eyes. The danger wasn't triggering to Tyger anymore, even though the slight distortion could be felt and it was making him quite uneasy. He took a step toward Ally as he let his arms fall to his sides.
“Rosie? She's out, probably with friends...” Tyger nodded, “Was always more social than me, always.” he hasn't realized what kind of awkward position Zeno was in, however he was hoping Zeno would notice the identical wedding rings they wore. It would definitely answer a few questions.
He was set into curiosity as she apologized. Sorry for what exactly? It wasn't exactly her fault that she's a virus, was it? He took a few more steps forward, wanting to desperately hug his wife. He was, however, unsure of what exactly was going to happen. Tyger was pretty speechless.

Zeno's look changed to one of confusion as the clearly identified virus spoke, she didn't even try to hide what she was, he unclenched his fists and let his arms just hang there. He'd usually feel insulted that she was so confident in her being able to defeat him easily, but he sensed it was more of a warning, not the threatening type of warning you give people to scare them off, although it was almost obvious that's what she meant, but he felt like she didn't want to hurt him at all, this was what made Zeno at ease, but it also gave him conflicting feelings.
He looked at Tyger who was still in shock it seemed, the two started talking about someone, somebody named 'Rosie'. Maybe a friend of theirs, one who was more social, but 'out with friends' wasn't a term you used when talking about a friend. He scanned the two again and noticed something on Tyger's finger, a ring. His eyes widened a moment, he knew what it would mean, but he felt like it couldn't really be possible. His thoughts were confirmed as the ring was on her finger as well, so that meant that Rosie...was maybe their daughter? This revelation shocked him, but it got him thinking as well. They were in a dangerous world, one where survival seemed to be key, and they were on opposite sides of the spectrum, one was a man probably trying to survive like the others, the other was the very thing threatening that, yet they still so obviously longed to be with one another, could this be other viruses were or was she special?
He decided not to think about it too much, he couldn't change his perspective of things, not after this long. Knowing he didn't fit into the situation, Zeno looked away watching Autumn go inside this machine of a world, letting the two tend to their own business.
