sunrise, kansas is a small town but its smack dab right in the
middle of the biggest war that anyone has ever seen. there are
battles being fought and it's right under everyone's noses. humans
are fragile creatures. they can't be expected to handle the truth of
what's really going on. but the truth is slipping out, piece by piece.
people are realizing that the things that go bump in the night are real
and they're starting to bump back. humans are also notoriously stubborn
creatures. they don't give up easily. this is their town and they're not
going to just give in. no, the humans want in on the fight. but it's a
heavy price to pay. its not just the boogeyman out there trying to steal
their children. there's more out in the dark, playing in the shadows,
than those silly humans realize.

all matters of evil are flooding to sunrise, kansas. there's something
to be found, something to be had, something that could bring on the
end of the world. rumors have been whispered in the dark of a goblet,
a silly trinket that might just be more than it looks. nobody knows what
it does but they know its powerful and they know that the biggest bad
of them all wants it. but the devil is just story they tell at sunday school.
isn't it?
