Twenty years ago, they came into our world: powerful beasts which brought death and destruction everywhere they went while making us humans their prey to feed upon. We called them the Aragami, raging gods who run rampant on the earth. They took everything away from us, leaving only a handful to struggle for our lives.
A few years later, a company called Fenrir found a way for us to fight back, developing the first weapons able to stand against them: the Jinki. Using this weapon, we had found hope for our kind, and used it to turn the tables upon our predators. From being the hunted to the hunters, we struggled to reclaim the world we lost. We are the God Eaters - those that derive our own power by consuming theirs...Bearing our fangs to bite them to death.
