♦ Manticore Tail Whip-fists
A pair of gloves made from Manticore Virus tails. The length of the tail covers his forearm, plates crafted from the tail, reinforced with a steel inlay. Theres a trigger on both of them that, when pulled, releases the armguards, allowing them to slide down and hang loose. The trigger remains in his hands, though. When the trigger is pulled again, they retract quickly. At length, the Tails are only about 5 feet long, and the ends of the tails are the stingers at the end of the tails. Spiked and dangerous. When retracted the spikes cover Zane's hands, allowing him to use them up close as well as far away.
[/ul][/size]HISTORY: Zane started life rather normally, growing up in a small town with his family. The difference, however, was Zame was... Off... By age 12 a second identity made itself known, who called himself Andrew Partridge. This didn't stop people from calling him crazy, and this made him mad as can be. Thus the Sparta Reaper was born. Zanes mind cut the consciences of the two halves from each other, Andrew taking the dark, angry side of his brain, while Zane got the Happy-go-lucky side.
More about the Sparta Reaper. He was said to walk around Sparta with a scythe in hand, cutting down those who he felt worthy of his blade. After 19 murders, spanning the course of 4 years, Zane was arrested, pleading innocence. He had not committee the crimes, how could he not remember it? Andrew took over Zanes body when they brought the scythe out as evidence, and jumped up, still bound, and pulled it from the attorneys hand. He cut down several more people, including the judge and bailiff. A cold, booming laughter came from him, and then the conversion happened.
Zane woke up in a small clearing, an odd looking scythe at his side. He lifted it up and there was surprisingly little weight to it, and was easy to swing. He also noticed jagged claws on his hands and a spiked tail. He ignored these, just continuing to survive as always... He lifted the hood on his coat, grabbed his scythe and continues on his way. He didn't know he'd stumble upon a virus nest, but Andrew took over again, easily cutting the viruses down where they stood. Still unaware of the other man that dwelled within the same body.
