Event #01 Sign-Ups--[/font][/size]
The first event involves an excursion into the Virus Nest in Red Meadow, further explained by the information poster above. Any character can join (they don't necessarily have to fight as one of the exploring and attacking party, they can try to stop them, follow behind them curiously without realizing what's going on, or any other way you can think to include them).
Just for an overview of what to expect...

I plan on using all of my characters except for Elizabeth~
Leanne: "Hey, it's money. And it's something to do. At the very least, it'll be interesting to see what's inside."
Skye: "The Virus' Nest...could my father be inside? ... I'm not sure if I want to, but I'll go along and see. Besides, now's a chance to prove that I'm not just a kid!
Elizabeth: "I'm curious what they'll find in there, but I can't bear the thought of so much fighting. It isn't right.
Sofia: "As a member of the VDF, of course I'll be participating! Besides, we actually get paid for this job!"

Well, lets see what my characters think about it.
John: "It is my sworn duty to protect the world from the Viruses. I will be accompanying the group on this mission."
Sophia: "Only 300 Bytes, you say? Maybe I can con someone out of their money, or someone will die while we're in there and the share will be bigger. I'm in."
Alyssa: "This group will not be able to get very far without someone that can 'speak' to the Viruses. I must help them... I just hope they aren't mistaken and shoot me as well."
Looks like Everyone wants in... Sounds fun.

Aria: "Yosh! It's time to prove that I'm deserving of the title Aerial Bombardment Specialist! Besides, mama might be there too! ... Ehehehe, just try to watch out for anything flying at you, okay guys~? Sorry in advanced!"
