But if asked, he doesn't believe that name applies to him anymore. Normally, he will reply that he is nameless, and doesn't deserve one. If he has to give someone something to call him, he uses "Nemo" - a Latin word literally meaning "nothing". AGE: 14 GENDER: Male SEXUALITY: Pansexual, though he was always too shy to consider anything like that much TYPE: He is skeletal in form, resembling a somewhat deformed skeleton with an odd, orb-like head with blank eyes and a wide, toothy mouth. He generally wears a mage-like cloak.

[/b]: As with a few other Viruses, he is able to temporarily appear as his old, human self. However, the transformation is imperfect, and he still is unable to completely manage human speech. He can talk, but he stutters and coughs painfully when he does so. He is also just as susceptible to whatever is controlling the Viruses in this form.
♦ Stone Aura: By consciously increasing the strength of his distortion, he is able to petrify anything and anyone who stays nearby for too long. It spends quite a lot of energy, though.[/ul][/size]
SUMMARY: A boy who lives a life he hates as a Virus, and in many ways, already considers himself dead.

[/b]: A weapon that functions as both a spear and a staff. It is sharp, jagged, and pointed on the bottom end, and at the top it appears as an ornate mage-like staff. The staff-like part allows him to amplify his distortion more efficiently.[/size]

[/ul][/size]HISTORY: Icarus was always a bit of a strange boy, born to a family with two loving parents and an older sister of 10 years in a small, rural town. He was a very intelligent child, unusually so, and he took interest in both spirituality and science from a young age. He was an exceptional, very studious student, and also very warm and kindhearted despite being weak willed. His focus on philosophy and how things work, along with his day-dreamy, quiet nature made him a bit different and withdrawn, but he was actually content that way. He was also born with a frail constitution, but as long as he kept mostly to his studies, it didn't bother him. He started getting bullied in school though, and being weak both in body and spirit, he never defended himself. That was were his older sister, Annalise, came in.

Despite her flamboyant, almost opposite personality, she took a liking to the boy, playing a loving and protective role in his life. She was his favorite person growing up. With her and their parents to lean on, he grew up comfortably until age 14, not minding being different.

But it was that year that the conversion happened, and everything changed. The boy having been turned into a Claw, things remained largely the same between him and his parents as they slowly began to adjust, but to his sadness, his sister became a Hollow, and she no longer showed him affection and love. Not quite understanding or able to accept her change from flamboyant, loving girl into an empty shell, the usually mild mannered boy snapped one day, breaking down and begging to have his old sister back. When she still payed him no notice, he ran off in a fit of blind emotion. She did chase after him, but Viruses found him first.

He tried frantically to escape, but it was to no avail. He became one, with his sister arriving only in time to see what happened, a look of horror somehow on her face. He never saw her or his parents again, and he never knew what happened to them. He never even learned of his parent's deaths six months later...

Now, he functions as a typical Virus. He is still the same inside, but he is forced to obey whatever is that is controlling them and making them take and ruin people's lives. He hates himself for it, sometimes thinking that he might be able to resist if only he was stronger, and considers himself a different being from his old self. He claims that Icarus Bishop is already dead, and that he is nothing more than his living corpse, so to speak, used as a grim puppet. That's his way of dealing with the guilt and pain.
