[/b]: She can make a round, orb shaped around herself and anyone nearby that can nullify any attack or Viral distortion that touches it. Anyone inside is safe from such attacks, but maintaining it takes energy.
♦ Barrier Wall: She can create much bigger areas of nullification with skill (how big depends on the energy spent), but it doesn't work nearly as well as former skill, and it's less reliable - attacks or distortion will sometimes get through. Nonetheless, it's the only way to shield a large area or group of people.[/ul][/size]

[/ul][/size]HISTORY: In the real world, Annalise Bishop seemed to have it all. Loving parents, a timid but sweet younger brother she was really close to and who she protected, good looks, good grades, a nice job working as a waitress, and popularity. She was a very flamboyant, outgoing, and fun-loving girl.

But all that changed in an instant when she became a Hollow during the sudden conversion. No matter how much she wanted it back, she could no longer feel the joy or enthusiasm that had once driven her. And worse, she realized that she could no longer feel the same way about her parents and her brother - she could no longer love them. Remember the way she'd felt before, she felt wrong now, as if she was an entirely different person.

Not letting the memories of the emotions she'd felt leave her, she tried to love them, she tried to act as her old self, but it wasn't enough. Her fragile younger brother who'd relied so much on her couldn't handle the change, and ended up trying to run off after fighting with her. Still wanting to protect him out of the duty she felt she had, she caught up with him just in time to see him be transformed into a Virus by a couple of the creature's he'd run into, unable to save him. The younger brother she'd loved was no more.

And the worst part was that she never shed a single tear. Her parents grieved and wept around her, angry about what happened to their son, but she felt no pain. He'd run away and become what he was because of her, but she could feel no sorrow. It made her realize what a monster she'd become, herself.

But life went on. However, when the VDF heard rumors about her nullification abilities, they sent a soldier out to 'persuade' her to join, deeming it valuable in the fight against Viruses.

Fighting against Viruses, though, might one day mean killing her younger brother. That was something this organization was indirectly out to do. Even if she could feel no real love or sorrow, she knew that was wrong. She blatantly refused.

It is unknown whether his actions were ordered by the VDF higher ups, or whether the soldier acted on his own out of anger, but when her parents tried to help defend her, he shot them down, destroying their chips. Her parents were dead, murdered.

Again, she could feel no sorrow or guilt, but something did come. A memory of anger. Even if she couldn't feel it now, she knew that this was one such situation where it should come into place. A situation where someone should be punished. Everything was wrong. Everything in this world was wrong!

She escaped, using the opportunity her unfortunate parents gave her. With everything gone, she made it her purpose to bring down the VDF itself - the organization that ended her parent's lives unjustly. She also decided that she didn't give a damn about this new world or anyone in it - it was all flawed and empty. It had destroyed her and her family. It It should all be destroyed.

She lives now as a member of the Annulus Institute, wanting to assure her own survival long enough to achieve her goals, and wanting to learn as much as she can about this world she wants gone. With the way she feels no guilt, she can lie easily, and so she has no problem keeping her true intentions under wraps. It also leads her to feel no guilt for anything that she does or any lives that are lost in the process. She just wants everything to end.
