Ayame walked through the filthy street, uneasy on every step. Trash , dirt and dust covered the floor. The place was not as pretty or well kept as the square. Kinda reminded her of good food in a high five restaurant with a behind the scenes a messed up, cockroach infested kitchen.
She was warned of this place where people gambled for money, picked up fights and stole energy mercilessly. She looked up at a sign "Maverick Mayhem". A casino perhaps with all the commotion that could be heard inside. Curious - She peered through a small dusty window. Two people fighting over a bag of cash she assumed as the two men yelled harsh words and used their fists, teeth and claws.
The Siren quickly walked away from the building. Her breathe hesitant and nervous, she really didn't want to come here, but then she came here knowing taking energy from an unsuspecting victim would be easy here. She needed energy by the end of this day - she had no choice since she was hanging out in Maverick Square anyway. Maybe go back now? No...she had wandered to far in anyway. She regretted not bringing someone along with her. Her hands behind her back, she walked ahead looking up staring at the signs of various buildings.

Sophia ran swiftly through the crowd of people, keeping low so the people that were chasing her couldn't see her as easily. She kept a hand on her jacket pocket as she ran, making sure the freshly taken chips didn't fall out. She rounded a corner and entered an Alleyway, hopping behind a pile of refuse and watching as the two men that were chasing her passed the Alleyway. She grinned and stood up, pulling one of the three chips from her pocket and crushing it, feeling the energy flow into her. It was a great feeling to be at full energy again. She smiled and started walking, but then looked behind her. "Ive never been to that part of town, why not..." She said, and walked in the new direction.
After a few moments, she found herself in a shady part of the town, and grinned. "This is my kind of place!" She said, and her ears twitched, hearing the fighting going on nearby. Her eyes fell upon a girl who looked out of place. She backed up a bit, into the alleyway and waited for her to pass. 'Heh. Around here, no one would be missing her, so I might as well stock up.' Sophia thought to herself, and crouched low to the ground, stalking toward Ayame slowly, and Silently. The plan would have gone along without a hitch, but she accidentally bumped a bit of trash, causing a box of glass bottles to fall, and shatter. She looked up at her prey with wide eyes, knowing she'd been caught.

[ With all the yelling, fighting and other noises in the area, it was hard to know to know if she was being followed or not. Everyone seemed to mind their own business; nay these blockheads would just directly attack her than secretly plan something out. As she past a junction, a sudden sound of glass breaking close by gave her a jerk. The sound was just behind her, was there someone she didn't notice standing behind her?
As a reflex, Ayame swiftly turned around, with a quickened arm taking out a revolver and aiming it to the stalker’s forehead. It never hurt to be careful, but she wouldn’t pull the trigger without a reason. She took a quick glance at the woman, she was about three – fours years older than her - fangs and claws were the main features she could make out – A Beast. One of the most hated races, perhaps because they killed in order to survive. “Who are you?!” Ayame questioned in a demanding tone. Her eyes stern, and a straight face. She may had been nervous and timid to the new environment, but not to people of whatsoever kind or race.

"I'm not too unlike you. I'm moving through a foreign area looking for someone to prey off of. Our means are different, but goals, ultimately the same." she said, rather calm considering she had a revolver at her forehead. She thought about her options, In case she needed to make a quick getaway. "Now, put that thing away before you Hurt someone." She stood up slowly, a smile on her face. "Alluringly beautiful, in a shady neighborhood. Damn, Sirens are getting bold. You're bound to run into some bad people. You need an escort." she said with a wide grin. "You use your song to seduce the two fighting over there, absorb your energy, give me the word and I'll take what's left In their chips, and we split the cash. What do you say?". She gestured toward the fighting pair.
Sh thought about it for a few moments, and chuckled softly. "Of course, you may not trust me, but honestly, I was just gunna take your chip and sell it to some underworld types. I've got enough to last a while.". She held up the two chips in her pocket and grinned as she slid them back. "What do you say? Parnters?" she asked with a grin. Maybe after earning the others trust shed take her chip anyway. She hadn't really decided yet.

"..............You're bound to run into some bad people. You need an escort."
"I think I already did" Ayame thought as she out down her weapon, not back in its place but tightly caught just in case the beast tried to attack. Trusting someone like her would be foolish since just five minutes ago the woman tried to kill her. However Sophia was right on the fact of the same goal, she was in bad situation with only her weapon as a defense. Using her skills would prove fatal since she was low on energy and trying to attack Sophia would be reckless - the beast kept chips in stock, neh she was at a great disadvantage there.
"Very well, But any signs of betrayal and your finished" Ayame said in a quickened but serious tone - she couldn't show out an expression of uncertainty now. She turned to the men fighting, probably for money she guessed. "5 minutes, do whatever you want with them after those minutes" she spoke confidently as she began a slow tune. A very calming tune, something she thought may help calm the two fighting. At first her voice trembled as she was uncertain of the beasts objective, Sophia could easily try and kill her as she sang. But then in about a minute she eased up. She could feel energy surge to her as one of the men stopped fighting and stared at her. How she enjoyed the surge of energy, as it soon boosted when the second man was lured as well.

Sophia chuckled slightly as the Siren threatened her. "Don't worry. I may be a snake in the grass, but I'm loyal when I work out a deal with someone." She said. She watched as the guys that were fighting stopped, and listened to Ayame, and chuckled. "Men... They're all simple minded, aren't they..." She said, and waited the 5 minutes that Ayame had Allowed her, and walked over to the men, and putting a hand through ones chest, and her other hand through the second mans forehead. She pulled two chips out and grinned, sliding them into her pocket. She grabbed the bag of Cash and walked back over to the Siren. "Well. What are we going to do with the cash, now that it's ours? She asked with a sly smile. She grabbed what looked like half, and slid that half into her bag, and handed the other half to Ayame. "Looks like we're done here, then."

"Looks like she has an eye for finding chips" Ayame murmured as she watched the beast pull out the chips with ease. No mess or time taken there as the men dissolved in coding. The female handed Ayame some bunch of so called money, not exactly half but good enough for her, saved up with the money in she already had.
"Looks like we're done here, then."
Ayame stared at Sophia at that comment. "We?" Did the beast really mean it when she had earlier agreed on a truce? she thought as she put the money in her bag. The woman didn't seem that stupid though, to trust someone so easily. "Like I said earlier, who are you" she asked again, but now with a more casual tone. Talking after killing someone in this neighborhood wasn't a good idea but she really didn't mind anyone who would try picking a fight now.

"You're still goin on about that? Most people don't care. Im Sophia Flynn." She said, tapping on the collars around her neck as she spoke the next line. "Im an Optic Wolf-Beast." She grinned slightly. "I don't really care all that much, but I should probably be formal... What's your name?" She asked with a sigh, sitting down on a nearby crate. "And why the hell would you be in these dingy back Alleyways. I thought you siren's liked crowds of Attention." She asked, sliding the two chips she just received into her pocket with the other two. "Maybe I'll run into Skye... and give him one..." She mumbled softly, not knowing if the Siren she was talking to heard her. "What're you going to spend the money on? I'm thinking a new wardrobe. Something that fits my lifestyle a bit better than this..." She said, gesturing to her black jeans, blue shirt, and leather jacket. "Im thinking a Duster and a Fedora..." She said with a definitive nod.

"Knowing your name would be better than calling you a beast or a freak" Ayame replied sharply as she leaned to a wall with her back against it. The beast seemed easy going, talking about clothes to buy. She didn't bother asking her about her matters such as who was she talking about. She was rather grateful for Sophia's help.
"I came here for two reason, one completed - Energy, another is because I've heard rare weapons could be bought here." she spoke as she looked around. Unlike Sophia, she gave more concern to her inventory than her clothing. She had money enough for two ordinary weapons, but with what she got now - good enough for a high five sword or something of that sort - she thought putting back her gun. The beast wasn't any threat for what she observed. . "Not all Sirens are the same....I'm Ayame, an Optic as well. My Money? Well, weapons I guess. I suppose your here the same reason the people here are for?" she asked indicating she was here for money , clothes energy, by the way Sophia spoke and dressed.

"Watch it... Last person that called me a freak... Well... Nothing happened to him, he was at full energy and HUGE... But still..." She muttered, looking at the Siren. "Ah, Actually, Im here just checking out the new surroundings. I wonder if I can find a black market chip buyer back here thatll buy these for more than my old Fence..." She said with a mild grin. "Well, Ayame. It was nice meeting you, I'm almost glad I didn't just kill you when I had the chance." She said, this was actually her way of passing a compliment... "Now... Ive gotta find me some new threads... I'd find myself a blade, like you are, but I look at it this way. Guns are no fun, and while swords are more personal, theres nothing more personal than tearing through someone with your claws... It's a great feeling." She said with a slightly sadistic laugh, and stood up. "Let's find us a black market dealer, shall we?" She asked with a grin.

Ayame gave a skeptical look at Sophia when she commented on not killing her. Weird now wasn't she. She wondered if she would be able to fend herself if she was attacked. She sighed as she down graded herself , not even being able to sense being followed.
"Great feeling......I-I guess we have different method of killing" She said listening to how Sophia killed. The way she explained it, Ayame could almost imagine how the beast ripped her foe, tearing the skin out and painfully removing the chip. She shuddered at an image imprinted in her head. She rather envied the beast who killed without a care, ten years have past and she still couldn't get over those terrified faces and begged for mercy.
She shrugged as as she moved away from the wall behind her She didn't have anything better to do anyway. Beside, she could even find a good weapon and something to do with the extra money.....

Sophia moved away from the wall, and toward another branching alleyway. "Follow me, I'll show you where to get your weapon." She said, starting to walk. "Theres a somewhat small warehouse back here that they're based in, buying and selling stolen goods is their specialty, but sometimes they get the interesting item." She said as they walked. After a few moments, they rounded another corner, and approached what looked like a loading dock. Sophia hopped up the steps swiftly, nodding to the man at the door, who returned the nod, then stood and placed a blade in front of the door, between the two girls. "Don't worry, Chester, she's with me." Sophia said, as the doorman nodded at the new girl, sliding his blade away silently.
"Well, here we are." She said, holding her hands upwards. The room was rather simple, a couple of clothing stands, a couple of smaller weapon racks, and then a lot of shelving in the back, cutting off most of the shop. Sophia started looking through the clothing. She smiled happily, new shipment. As she looked, her eyes widened, pulling a Rawhide Duster from the hanger and slipping into it gracefully. "Oooh, How much for the duster?" Sophia asked, hearing "Eighty, another Twenty for the Fedora that goes with it." He said, she nodded and tossed a small roll of bills toward the man standing by some crates, which acted as a counter. "Theres for the Clothes. Heres for the hush fee, and here. This is for the stuff Ive owed you. She said with a grin, emptying her pockets of a lot of the cash she had gotten from the other two men.

Ayame followed the woman quietly as they turned at certain confusing lanes. For someone who found out about this place sometime ago, she knew much. Soon they reached a dock of some sort, she scanned the area. Run down old place wasn't it. As the doorman opened the old cracked yet surprisingly heavy doors. She entered with caution not knowing what she may encounter. The Room was large, many different small stores here and there. She looked around when she noticed a shield handing on the back on a shop. On a closer inspection they were swords, daggers, gloves , revolvers , whips and so many other weapons neatly segregated. A weaponry store alright , Ayame thought as she approached the store and browsed through the different tools.
"Useless" she sighed a bit later as she browsed through most of the items. Some swords had they're the tip chipped of or bent, or some too light and fragile. Some revolvers were of good condition, but they were way over priced as they were commonly found weapons. The whips, daggers and such were interesting however, Ayame wanted something in a close range. She was about to settle for a bow and arrow set when she spotted a blade kept on the back shelves. Neat and well kept, not half bad. She took it off the shelf, and to her surprise her hand pulled down to its weight - quickly catching it in both hands. A bit of practice may help her wield this soon. "It took a lot to get that thing! It ain't gonna come for a 100 that for sure" the shopkeeper spoke out as he saw her interested in the blade. He swung on his chair with his head resting on his arms. He didn't think she'd really buy something that costly perhaps? Ayame gave a sly smile "Money wouldn't be a problem" she said calmly as she put her hand into her bag strapped across her shoulder and pulled out the money Sophia had given her. The man straightened his chair as he saw the bundle of cash. "Well then....230 it is!" he said as he got up. Ayame smiled as she gave the guy the amount he sought for the blade.
As she exited the store, she looked around for her accompanist. The older female was located at the clothing store. Ayame approached the woman with the blade strapped behind her back.. "Thank you for you assistance" she said as she gave a light bow.
