Elizabeth let her feet dangle lightly along the shore of the sea, the light waves creating ripples around her ankles as she shuffled them just slightly, enjoying the feeling of the water caressing her skin and running between her toes.
Something about water always made her feel peaceful. Water was the element of which her abilities revolved around, so she had a natural liking of it, but it was more than that. When she'd been really small, back in her happiest years, her family had lived in a large house by a beach.
If she closed her eyes, and felt nothing but the sun on her face and the cold water around her feet, she could pretend that she was still there, sitting on the shore behind her first home in the real world. ...The water brushing against her skin felt fresh, brisk, and cool, it was hard to believe that everything wasn't real. At least, not in the way it'd been real before. The ocean was lifeless, and it's endless waves led no where. Yet she didn't necessarily feel sad when she thought about it, just nostalgic. There were other things from that time in her life that she missed more, things that were never material to begin with...
But none of that mattered now. She'd come here to relax, after all, not to let her thoughts weigh her down. Forcing away her melancholy, she stretched and gave a pleasant sigh, gently laying her body down against the sand while she kept her face to the sky and her feet in the sand, her eyes closed peacefully. Even if she couldn't actually sleep, this was as close to bliss as she could get.

As his cheeks turned red, He began to walk towards her. "Excuse me miss? why is a cute girl here alone?..." Blushing as he gave her a shy glance.
please don't hurt me... . The thoughts echoed in his head as continued towards her, trying to sit by her.His eyes fixed upon hers, trying not to look anywhere inappropriate, or make her feel uncomfortable. "it's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Angel smiled nervously trying to speak to her, hopefully he'd survive for her to say hi back to him./left]

"Excuse me miss? why is a cute girl here alone?..."
Elizabeth blinked as the remark, a bit startled as she quickly opened her eyes. She found a red-faced boy glancing down at her as she did. He looked a bit younger than her, but she blushed slightly at the unexpected compliment, in spite of herself. She must've been so lost in her thoughts that she hadn't heard him approach. "T...thanks for the compliment."
She greeted politely. "But I just came here to relax for a while. It's always so peaceful here." She explained, pulling her feet out of the water as she sat up straighter. She absently glanced him over. He indeed appeared to be another Siren, like her. She'd guessed so. Seeming a bit nervous, the boy tried to sit down next to her. "it's a beautiful day, isn't it?" He commented, smiling anxiously. Elizabeth just chuckled a bit, before giving the bright sun another brief glance. Its light reflected brightly on the water and gave the sky a bright, blue tint. "Yes, it is." She agreed, smiling. She turned towards the newcomer again. "What brings you out here?" She asked curiously. Had he just been looking to relax like she had, or had some other reason brought him to the beach?[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Did i scare you?" Angel shyly backed away. "i-I'm sorry.... " Angel sighed and watched her for moments, Staring into her eyes. I'm scared to look anywhere else.... Angel blushed slightly again and soon covered his face. "Nyan......" Angel sighed and soon
"Oh? I'm sorry I didn't mean to disturb you're relaxation." Angel flailed as he glanced back. "I just came to the network an hour ago, just like everyone else i guess." Angel sighed, "it's been two hours and people are already fighting? i couldn't go to a forest without people saying give me you're data." Angel shrugged and glanced at her. "OI, SORRY IF I'M BORING YOU!?" Angel flailed and soon bowed.
"i love starry skies.... , but i hate being in the dark alone...." Angel sighed as he curled into a ball and stared at the sky. "i just escaped an attack..."

The boy apologized anxiously for startled her and disturbing her relaxation. Elizabeth smiled slightly. "Don't worry. It's just unusual to run into people here at this hour, so I was a bit surprised is all. But it's nice to have someone to talk to, sometimes."
She blinked in bewilderment at his next statement, though. "An hour...? You just got here an hour ago? ...What do you mean?" She glanced in his direction, her confusion showing on her face. "It's been...I've been here ten years." Had he really only been here an hour? Why would that be? Was that even possible? Her gaze changed slightly, though, as he mentioned that he'd just escaped an attack. "Yes...starry skies are lovely." She agreed with a nod, but kept a somewhat serious expression on her face. "But an attack...are you alright?" She asked, concerned about her fellow Siren, even if the way he said he'd only been here an hour didn't make complete sense.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Oh ok...." Angel smiled as he splashed the water. "I'm glad to meet you i'm angel." Angel gave a warm smile as he played with his hair. "But i meant it when i said you were cute." Angel winked at her and soon laid down.
"Yup, Didn't the network start an hour ago?" Angel curiously asked as he watched the stars. "nyan...." He shrugged and soon met her eyes. "I was attacked by three people, asking for a chip or something. I don't have chips. i wish i had chips" Angel rubbed his tummy as he glanced around. "We should get somewhere private if it gets to dark, BUT BUT I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKe THAT!" Angel blushed heavily as he flailed. "The skies are to pretty to be real..... " Angel sighed as he watched the water move back and forth.
"nyan...." slowly inching towards her as he sees glimspes of darkness. "can i stay with you?. Shyly glancing at her as he watches the skys.

The boy introduced himself with the name Angel. Elizabeth smiled. "My name is Elizabeth. Pleased to meet you, too."
She greeted in return. She blushed a bit in spite of herself at his next comment, but when he mentioned the network starting an hour ago again the bewilderment returned to her face. "Did you really only get here an hour ago?" She blinked. "It began ten years ago. Or at least, that's when I and everyone else I've met got here." He apparently didn't understand the concept of the chips, either. "Everyone here has a chip inside them. Don't let them find it or break it, or else you'll die..." She tried to explain briefly. It probably sounded odd, but it was important that he knew for his own safety. She looked over him again. How was this even possible. She laughed a bit at his next comment. "Maybe, it's not too safe out here at night." It was starting to get a bit dark, now. She didn't want to come into contact with anyone desperate or unsavory. Her lips downturned just slight at his next comment, though, about the sky. "That's probably because it isn't real..." Was that such a bad thing? Everything sure seemed real. It was strange to think that it wasn't. What was it that made something real, anyway? She glanced towards him again at his next question. Eventually, she nodded. "Okay...why not?" In reality, if he'd only just got here an hour ago, there would be many things he'd need to learn if he wanted to survive. If left alone without being used to living this way, she doubted that he'd last long.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Liza... thats a pretty name" Angel smiled and shrugged. "Yeah i wouldn't lie about that....I just remember, seeing through my eyes this wierd computer thing, and poof, i woke up in the sky with a big blue light, and fell down." Angel shrugged. "It's not a big deal miss liza. And i'm pleased to meet someone like you as well."
"What? Thats Cruel!" Angel stared at her as he held his sword, soon stabbing the ground. "Well then, i promise i wont let anyone lay a hand anywhere on you're beautiful body, The chip shall be protected. " Angel smiled and kneeled to her, pretending to be a knight.
"D-do i have something on my face?" Angel blinked as she looked him over. "is there a bug?" Angel glanced and shrugged. "i fear to be alone in the dark..." angel sighed as he curled up next to her. "oi..."

She smiled as the boy repeated her name, shortening it to Liza. She was glad that he thought it was a pretty name...she herself wasn't overly fond of it, sometimes. He explained his situation further afterwards, the explanation still making her blink. It was odd to think that he'd only just entered this world. He seemed casual about, though. It was surprising. When she'd first ended up here and began to learn about everything, she'd panicked.
She blushed slightly in spite of herself as he said he'd protect her, kneeling down like a knight. "T...thank you!"
She sputtered, her lips upturned. "But I could help you, as well. I can teach you how to get by, in this world." She offered. It would feel weird to just leave someone who was new to the Network. He mentioned being scared of being alone in the dark, curling up closer to her. She nodded. "Maybe we should head back to town. It's beginning to get late. We don't actually have to sleep in this world, but it's a bit dangerous being in a secluded area after dark. Maverick Square is the nearest city, we could head there. We could also go to Siren's Cove, and area for people like us in the nearby Willow Woods. There's a carnival not far away, too, that's usually pretty crowded. Where would you like to go?" She grinned, not minding where they headed. If he was as new to the world as he said, he probably wasn't familiar with any of the places she'd mentioned. She'd take him anywhere nearby that he wanted to see.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Angel blushed as he rested against her shoulder. "oi...i haven't rested....". He soon stared at the stars as he watched the time pass on."I will be you're knight!" Angel smiled as he held a sword to her shoulder, the flat side to not hurt her. "and information is great power..." Angel smiled as the sword disappeared and he soon plopped to his knees. "Oi, doing that constantly...." Angel sighed as he rested for a few moments.
"Town? hm... Ok, maybe we can find a hotel" Angel shrugged and then blinked a few times "ER, Wait i meant to discuss stuff!" Angel flailed as he tried to correct himself. "besides... i don't it would be right to do on the network. " Angel poked two fingers together as he looked around himself. "where is the most personal place of all? and we'll be safe still..."

"A hotel. Hmm..."
The girl thought aloud, trying to think of the best place to head. In the nearby area, their options were basically Maverick Square and Siren's Cove. Maverick was the biggest city in the Network, whereas Siren's Cove was, as it was titled, a place only known by their fellow kind. Both places could actually be surprisingly rough during this hour, but as long as they stayed in a hotel she figured that either place would be safe. "How about Siren's Cove?" She eventually suggested. "It's a very pretty place, and only people like us know about it. You can meet more people like us there, and it should be pretty safe as long as we stay in the inn there. It's very close by, too. It's hidden in the Willow Woods." It was also by the water, not all that distant from the shoreline they were currently on. It would require a bit of a walk back through the forest, but as long as you knew where to look, it was the closest hotel to where they were. She'd have lots of things to explain to him, there. At least it'd be a good place for him to begin to understand his fellow kind. It was a place she often spent time at when she wanted to get away from her family for a while.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"ok!" Angel pounced her playfully, as he shined bright blue for a moment, His head filling with images of a grey haired boy, soon he shook his head and came back to reality. "ow... my head" Angel held his head tightly. Angel sighed as he got off her shaking his head lightly. "Yes let's go....siren's cove..." Angel blinked as he rubbed his temples.
"And if i see anyone who tries to touch you, " Angel stood up, holding his sword with one hand. "I will kill them personally" Angel giggled.

The boy agreed eagerly, jumping at her playfully. Elizabeth tensed in surprise, laughing a bit, but then a bright blue light shimmered around him, something even more surprising. It only lasted a moment, the boy clutching his head as it wore off. "Wha...what happened?"
She blinked. "What's wrong? Are you alright?" She asked in alarm, urgently glancing down at him. But he still seemed ready to go. She got up, lifting herself up off the sand. The boy held out his sword, promising to defeat anyone who tried to harm her. A bit ambitious for someone who only just got here, but it was charming. It was nice to have someone who cared. Especially someone who was hardly more than a stranger. That was unusual, in this selfish world. "Then I'll be relying on you." She giggled playfully. Stepping forward, she gestured for him to follow her on the path that ultimately lead to the cove. [[No worries^^]][/blockquote]

Angel blinked for a few moments. "I'm fine" Angel blinked once more and looked around him. "hm.....what did i see." Angel shrugged as he glanced at liza.
Angel giggled as he brushed the sand off her back. "hmm...." Angel nodded as he followed her, "I hope you do ma'am," Angel smiled as he nodded, his cheeks turning slightly pink. Angel glanced at the beach and soon continued to follow her, the place seemed interesting. He had never been anywhere like it before. "ooooh~" Angel winced as he walked around her looking at everything.

[[Note: Moved topic to Siren's Cove]]
The scenery slowly began to shift from sand to soil, and clear horizon to greenery. But Elizabeth didn't lead him far from where the shore would be. After all, the place they were heading to was an inlet. The Siren looked up at the sky. Through the branches and leaves, she could still see the stars and moon shimmering above. "You can't tell because it was already dark when we entered, but it's always nighttime here. Some people say that it's haunted or cursed, but I think it's pretty here."
She commented absently, still staring upwards. She moved her gaze back to the path ahead afterwards, though. She had to be careful not to get the two of them lost. It was lucky that she'd been here many time before. "This way." She gestured, as she recognized a familiar willow tree that she used as a landmark to the turn off. She lead him passed it, climbing over a few rocks and passed a bit of brush. The entrance was well hidden, but as soon as she got back to level ground, she saw the cove and inlet. "This is it! Here's Siren's Cove!" She grinned happily. The town was filled with several more Sirens, along with shops and an inn. Like the rest of the woods, it was pretty, but it wasn't the most peaceful. The unmistakable sound of Siren's Song, something that was irresistible to other races, could be heard, as well as the sound of laughter, but underneath it was also the sound of yelling and arguing. "It's safest to stay near the center of town..." She added, knowing that things could get surprisingly rough in this little cove.[/blockquote]
