Character/User List?

As a new member, and as one that has just jumped in to the RP, I have noticed that, aside from the mods and their nifty dropdown box, there is not a straight, easy-to-access list that relates who plays who. While trying to figure out which player related to which character when posting, say, in the chat box for example, I realized that the only way to know for sure (barring, of course, the experience of interaction) was to go scouring through each and every character profile in the system files thread. D: So I was thinking, should we compile and keep-up-to-date a list of players and the characters they control?
