A sudden screech pierced the air, startling the blue eyed siren, though it didn't do much. He was a siren to, after all. The screech was ineffective. Looking around, the siren realized it was none other then the upstart traitor. Anger welled up in the siren as the usurper spoke. What a bunch of bull. Discarding his air weapon, it dissapeared, returning to it's normal state as the gale siren sped towards the other siren with a movement so quick. With the darkest scowl imaginable, he attempted to grab the other siren by the collar as he spoke, his voice pracitcally a snarl. "Don't preach to me when you don't know anything." His face darkened as he recalled horrible memories. Never had he felt so much terror as the moment he looked back while running with little Murasaki, only to see what no one should ever see- the violent death of his parents. By viruses. They didn't convert them either, not like they did Murasaki. The other siren was making some very big assumptions when he thought Yuki had not tried to make friends with a virus. Did the bastard know the pain he felt when he tried to help his beloved younger sister, only to have the child he lovingly helped care for, for so many years, and raised on his own for a year, the sister who he loved more than anything and anyone, and she tried to kill him. Did he know the agony of killing the person most dear to your heart because they attacked you, their eyes clouded with hate and not an ounce of recognition in their eyes? She didn't even remember who he was. And now she was dead. A newfound blind hate for the other siren and his cohorts made Yuki not care whether he was hurt in the process of telling the little traitor off. The hawk man gave a small screech of surprise and ran back towards siren-kun. Miffed, the boy called out after the escaping taka-chan. "Ne ne, Taka-chan, where are you going!? Play with Miha-chan!" The boy said, jogging after the retreating hawk man before the virus suddenly ran towards the nest entrance. Awww. He wanted to really 'play' with Taka-chan. And hear his tortured screams. Overhearing another conversation, the child skipped towards the bicycle, slowing to a brisk walk as he smiled at the hollow. "Is Ojii-chan a blank like Miha-chan, ne ne?" Miharu said, guessing by the man's interesting words. Fellow blanks were always fun. They were the only ones who understood Miha-chan.

Alyssa nodded at the generals words. "Then what are we waiting for?" She asked, taking a step forward and falling to a knee, covering her ears as the screeching started. As soon as it let up she pushed back to her feet and glared into the next with blood red eyes. Ice instantly appeared around her as her distortion increased on a large scale. She moved toward the group that was fighting against them swiftly, leaving a pathway of ice, the grass of the meadow freezing completely. She neared the group and saw that there was another yelling at the group. "You." She said, to Yuki. "Move." Her voice was cold, and quiet. The ice grew around the group. "You... No escaping... This time." She growled at Angel, turning into her dragon form and biting at the boy, attempting to grab his torso.
Sophia stood up on the cart-like thing the boy had left her on. "What the hell is going on?" She asked, looking at the Hollow. "Who the hell are you?" She asked, confusion in her voice. She looked behind her, then back to the doctor. She sat back down, the distortion hitting her hard. She curled up into a small ball in the cart, clutching her chest. She knew it was going to be bad, but this was ridiculous.
Zane spun his scythe once more, sending another dark blade up the pathway of the nest before he turned and ran, working on catching up with the doctor. He lunged, and swung his scythe at the cart, catching it and using the scythe to balance himself as he rode. "Lets go Doc! To the Center!" He said with a grin, seeming to still be energized good enough to continue. He looked down at Sophia with a chuckle. "Not doing to good, eh wolfie?" He asked, receiving a glare and a growl in response.
John covered his ears as the screeching happened, still able to stand well enough. He took a few shots at the Wolf-Sniper Virus that was helping angel. He used his control of air to split the air in front of the bullet, and push in from behind, making it fly about 5 times faster than normal at the wolf. Three shots, one aimed at each shoulder, one at the center of its forehead. As he took his last shot, he faded from sight and started running toward the group. He stumbled to a stop when he saw Alyssas distortion grow. He circled the group, taking shots at the viruses and at Angel as he moved.
"Cinderella. What should we do?" The voice of a little girl came from the center of the field. "Really? Help them? Whats the fun in that?" She asked with a giggle. She saw the dragon standing in the mouth of the nest and smiled happily, her brown hair flickering in the wind. "CINDERELLA! This is the perfect time to test out our hypothesis!" She called out gleefully. She held a hand up, and a dark brown ball of energy formed. She concentrated on it until it was about the size of a basketball and she threw it at the dragon. The orb hit, and surrounded an area just inside of where John was running. Ally kept the distortion going, not knowing that it was reversed. The three viruses working with Angel should be feeling the effects of a reverse-distortion, quite possibly turning them back into their old forms.

Aroku was rather surprised when Angel led him deeper into the nest, then suddenly covered his ears. After a split second he realized why. The many who had not covered their ears to protect themselves from the entrapping sound were suddenly pulled into a barrier like bubble. He glanced at the shortcut when Angel mentioned it, but made no move to leave. “Angel…” He gazed at him. “I understand how you feel… but do you realize you are only help kill other people… your destroying lives as well. You should be using this to your advantage and seeking out the cause of this rather than killing people… I am not leaving, I wont let you get hurt because of some rash decision…” Aroku firmly put his hand on his shoulder. “You can do something for everyone rather than just these puppets. Everyone here hates these Virus because their loved ones have been killed by them. Even I dislike them… but there’s a better way than this. Fighting only begets more fighting. So please retreat- I don’t want you to die.”

Angel smiled at Aroku, gently patting him. "Don't you remember when I first met you? exactly 4 days 17 hours and 24 seconds." Angel smiled as he continued. "I promised I wouldn't kill, unless I had to protect you, and 3 of my other friends. I would rather die than have you 4 injured. I Angel....will find a way to make friends with all the viruses, AND KILL THE DAMNED PUPPET MASTER." Angel said as punched his arm with a hand, the remote explosive hitting sophia, not fatal explosive, but enough to knock her away. ".........." As the smoke cleared, the smoke revealed Angel on the ground, his shoulder showing a bite mark. After a few moments, his body slowly formed together. Himself humming as pixels slowly disappeared, chunks of his shoulder appearing back, slowly but surely. "I'm sorry...." Angel winced as gently patted the virus, any body parts hurt, slowly formed together. "I hope we won't do this together again, because, it won't end well for you...." Angel smiled slightly. "Aroku, grab holly, and get her out of here. I realize....this isn't safe for either of you, and I don't want either of you two to get hurt." Angel nodded and gave them a thumbs up as his body formed into a huge blue sphere,. "Oi......speed crystal level 2....." Angel winced as he screeched, causing a bubble to form around the 4, yes even around the one who attacked him ,as the ball attacked the bubble, making angel stagger slightly. "I hope miss Ayame is fine....." Angel nodded as he waited for the two to leave, glancing at the little girl. I can't explode her.....too far....... Not realizing the reverse effects he smiles and flees. "Aroku, I trust you with Holly!" Assistant 1 Grunt, click, grunt click. "!" The virus sprinted at the enemy, as it fired at his ally, it stared at the viruses. Motioning them to move ahead, and regroup at rendevousz point. In a moment the virus was gone. Assistant 2 Clicks were heard, as it fled with his leader. "GRAWr!?" A shot hit the wolf, screeching in pain, as it activated a crystal, soon dashing off in the distance [[Sorry.....I feel worse........T.T, I may not post tomorrow.....]]

Ayame quickly brought her hands up to her ears covering them as the a Piercing screech filled the air. Her tactic of a sudden trap going haywire as the unnoticed distortion became unstable. She was too focused on her skill as the voice took her by surprise. Quickly regaining control and ending the distortion. She took a deep breathe as just trying to power her ability took a lot of energy. All for nothing now. She turned to see where the voice had come from. Non other than the person she tried to help – Angel. Perhaps his defense tactic, but a painful loss of energy for her.
She eyes widened in surprise and then in anger…..as she saw him escape? He puts up such a fight with a long lecture, finally leaving his comrades on their own on the battlefield. “I will never abandon my friends” those words of Angel passed through her head, she assumed it was all talk as he fled when outnumbered. Somehow she regretted ever trying to help them now. Turning to back the entrance of the cave, she decided to complete her mission. She was never caught as a traitor, so continuing won’t be a problem although she now might have been quite afar from the general and his group. She tilted her head back to the siren and leech who stood by Angel’s side, they were no threat now, no one would try to kill them unless they thought they could still put up a fight. They were helpless now…She assumed as she drew out her sword she cautiously made her way through the tunnel.

"But what about you, Angel?" Elizabeth asked, as she took off the headphones following Angel's screech attack and being pulled inside. "You don't need to worry about me - I can fight, too, if you need help. Are you sure you'd be okay by yourself?" In reality, the girl was somewhat eager to get out of there, and wondered what they'd gotten themselves into, but she didn't want to just leave Angel. She was capable of fighting, if need be. Sofia grimaced, momentarily stunned at the loud screech. She immediately rushed back after the Siren and his group, though, still holding out her gun. Taking control of the vines that grew in the meadow just outside the nest's entrance with her Green Hand ability, she made they grow longer, stretching inside towards the Siren - she hoped to be able to grab his ankles to hold him down. She never moved her gun away, though, as she caught up. "We don't even know who the puppeteer is. We are trying to find out, but if we don't fight back against his Viruses, we'll never know! If you continue what you are doing, you are putting everyone on this mission in danger, and I won't let that happen!" Her face twisted in anger, this time she fired a few shots in his direction from her. She didn't know if they'd hit, but she could no longer stop herself. She wouldn't let down the general! Things seemed to get even more out of control as a loud screech sounded, followed by a temporary barrier. Leanne and Skye groaned in pain at the sound, the Leech passing a look that was both somewhat sad and angry in Angel's direction, but the two managed to stay standing. The Siren's Viruses seemed to be going after the doctor. The place had completely dissolved into chaos - their was the Siren's group, the people trying to stop him, and the other people aiming for the center and taking out what other Viruses were still left. At this point in the mission, Leanne decided, she was going to get further in. She didn't come this way for no reason. Her axe outstretched in case something or someone decided to attack, the Leech followed in the Doctor and the others who'd taken off, heading further in. She used her wings to propel herself faster, not willing to be left behind. Not wanting to be alone, and curious as to what lie ahead himself, Skye followed the Leech, frowning determinedly. It was tempting to take of out off out of the chaos and the Nest and back into the meadow, but he stole himself. He wasn't going to be such a child, this time.[/blockquote]

------------------------------------------NPC EVENT------------------------------------------
"Keep pushing towards the center, everyone, and take out every Virus you see. If we pull back now, everything will have been wasted." This was the first time anyone had made this far into the Virus nest. Such opportunities, with such a large willing gathering, were rare. The General refused to waste this opportunity. "Those of you keeping back the Siren, keep it up - don't let him follow us at any cost!" Things had gotten incredibly chaotic. Protesters, people rushing forward on bikes and crazed laughter, the possibility of Virus jumping out at any moment from wherever they'd disappeared, too. But the man tried to stay focused on the main task - destroying Viruses and searching for any information that might be useful. The further they got inside, the more the environment seemed to change. Several side tunnels began to branch off from the main one, but they were blocked by large, sturdy steel barred gates. They looked to have holes for a key to be inserted, but unless they found keys somewhere, there was no way they were getting inside. He found that odd. Were Viruses intelligent enough to use keys? He stopped, trying to glance through the bars, but the side tunnels were dark inside - too dark to see anything. As they walked on, however, away from the entrance, the roof of the main tunnel became dotted with small lights, shedding light on the path. That was fortunate, but odd, nonetheless. Apparently there was electricity down here, too. At least now he'd have something to report back to the VDF. Suddenly, though, a voice echoed through the air, making the general stop and glance over at one of the gated side doors. The voice sounded young and female, and it was sounding off in song. Even though there were no words, the melancholy, yet somehow innocent melody was unmistakably Siren's song. ...What was a Siren doing behind one of the gates? With a confused glance at the others who'd been heading towards the center, the general stepped forward, squinting his eyes as he tried to see behind to gate. He could just barely make out a small, pale figure, that seemed to startle as it noticed them. The figure smiled, slowly coming towards the gate and the newcomers. It stopped just as it reached the bars that separated it from them. Now visible, it was plain to see that it was a young girl, likely around age 7 or 8, but the General's eyes opened wide in surprise. She wasn't a Siren. At least, not just a Siren. The girl had a song like one of them, but she also had white fox ears protruding from her knee-length, pale blonde hair, and a long fox-like tail extending from underneath the simple white dress she was wearing - features of a Beast. There were also two pairs of pale, somewhat crystalline wings that spread out from her back, clearly features of a Leech, and her fingernails twisted into a sharp point just like those of a Claw. Looking closer, the man could just make out that her eyes were made of glass, with a small trace of wire visible within them, just like something a Hollow might have. She had features of every race. She was also exceptionally beautiful, with flawless pale skin and finely elegant features. She looked hauntingly perfect. It was almost unnatural - as if someone had purposely crafted her like a porcelain doll. What was she? The question reeled in the man's head. Was she some bizarre form of Virus? It was hard to tell in the middle of a nest full of distortion, but she didn't seem to be giving off any herself, though. But before the taken aback general could mutter out words, she spoke first. "Who are you?" She asked. There was no hostility in her voice, instead the quiet words showing innocent curiosity. "...Are you...human?" The girl scanned the gathering of fighters, noticing the wings, machine bases, and animal features on most of them. She shook her head, looking briefly disappointed. "No, I suppose not. But you're still different than all of them who live here... More like me." Her voice trailed slightly, but the odd young girl quickly looked back up. "...Will you play with me? I haven't seen any of my friends for a while...I don't know where they went, so it's been rather lonely." Her eyes lit up hopefully, before the girl suddenly turned and disappeared briefly into the darker areas of the room. There was a sound of rummaging, and what seemed to be drawers opening and closing, but the girl quickly came back to the gate. She stuck her hand through one of the bars, holding out what looked like an elegant silver key. "The key is in here...but I can't reach the keyhole, and no one ever lets me out! I know I'm not supposed to leave yet...but will you let me out so I can play with you a bit? I'm tired of being in here..." The General hesitated, staring questioningly at the key. The girl was clearly abnormal. Not did she somehow possess features of all the races, she'd been found locked away within the Virus' Nest. How did he know that she wasn't an enemy? What should they do...? He wondered. Should they let her out? Should they capture her and take her back to be examined? Should they attack her as soon as they opened the door? Should they ignore her and instead try to see what was inside that room? He glanced back at the rest of the fighters who'd come. What did they want to do? Rosie scampered into the nest swiftly, right behind her Uncle John and the General. Rosie pushed past them when they came up to the girls cage, and the man hesitated. She looked at the girl for a minute, and then back at John and the General. "I don't think she's a Virus. She isn't giving off, like, any distortion." Rosie nodded, taking the key from the girl. She looked at it for a moment, and then back at the other two. John glared at her with a solemn look, shaking his head softly, hinting that she shouldn't. She sighed and looked at the girl. "Sorry..." She muttered and slid the key into the lock, turning it. "What's your name!?" Rosie asked with a grin, starting to pull the door open. John pushed it shut before it opened too far, and locked the door again.
"NO, we aren't sure if she's dangerous or not. I know you're a kid and you want a friend, but she's not like the rest of us. She could be dangerous." John said, pulling the key from the lock. Rosie looked at him with empty eyes, her left eye twitched a couple times.
She jumped at John, and threw a knee into his stomach, causing him to drop the key. She picked it up and looked at him. "Look. First, Im not a kid. Im 17. I just look 7 because of this godforsaken world. Secondly, Im a researcher, Im letting her out as a science project, you can call it. Third, Im a null. If she does try anything, I'll trap her in a Stasis Cocoon to make sure NO ONE BUT ME CAN LET HER OUT!" Rosie growled, turning back to the girl in the cage with a smile, and unlocking the door, allowing her out. She didn't know the VDF was looking for Nulls to work with them, and she was sure her abilities would be... Helpful to them.
Ally growled as the group ran from them, and ran after them, moving swiftly through the nest behind them. Luckily, due to Rosie's ability, the crystals they used worked in reverse, slowing them down. She swiped her large claw outward, attempting to stop the group from running. Her main goal was the Siren Boy, Angel. "I'm not part of the VDF. I don't have to make an incident report for killing a civilian. I have no problem Tearing you in HALF." She growled, her voice booming through the nest. Her claw-rake should have, at the very least, knocked Angel down long enough for her to tear him apart with another swipe. The Spacial Rend orb was still on her back, so if the others tried to increase their speed again, it would slow them down again.
Zane twitched suddenly, turning around. "Im in the Virus Nest. What the hell is going on?" He asked, looking around. He was soon surrounded by a large group of bigger viruses. The distortion was an almost crushing feeling. He channeled the shadows into his scythe and swung it in a large circle over his head, cutting through the heads of each of them. Two of the 6 vanished, the other four rearing back in pain. 'Chest, Shoulder, Back, Back.' he thought to himself, and charged at two of the remaining, He swung his scythe at ones chest, and used his claw to lash at the others shoulder, each of them vanishing swiftly. He looked over at the other two, who were rushing at him. He jumped up and took a swing, cutting through the last two chips. The 6 Viruses dissipated, and he moved deeper into the nest slowly, killing EVERY VIRUS in his path.
Sophia reached into her pocket, cracking another chip. She was pretty deep into the nest already, and the Distortion was getting to her. She moved deeper into the nest, sending spikes of shadows out in all directions, keeping the smaller viruses at bay. This helped keep the distortion off her well enough. She was currently alone, falling off the cart that she was just recently on. She was pretty deep, since she was hitching a ride on the doctors Bike. She sighed, wishing she at least had someone to talk to...

"Why, the silly sod of course!" The Doctor shouted in response to Zane's question as he rode deeper into the twisted labyrinth of tunnels which served as the Virus hive. A dubious smirk on his face which left little doubt that the schizophrenic maniac had his own suspicious agenda. Pedaling along on his little bike, any Viruses who made an effort to stop him were simply melted. A trail of steaming black puddles of ooze gathering in the doctor's wake - creatures liquefied alive by close-proximity blasts from his Plasma Flare ability. "No! No! No! None of these are right at all!" He exclaimed in loud disappointment. Slowing down in order to examine another trio of Viruses who were fast moving to intercept him.
Shaking his head, the air seemed to shimmer for a moment as the Doctor ionized it using his limited electrical powers, igniting it a second later with a small flame. There was a flash on par with that of a miniature solar flare for a split second, basking the dark tunnels in blinding light as the three Viruses shrieked in agony. His dial flipping, Benton shook his head grumpily. "None of these Viruses are special. They are all just a waste of time." Muttering half-hearted insults about the inferiority of his victims as he continued on his subterranean journey, he tunneled deeper and deeper, until at last he reached the area where the General and several others had gathered before a number of locked tunnels. "You can keep the bike." Dismounting, he coldly walked away from the woman who'd somehow managed to hitch a ride with him. Too focused on what appeared to be a woman with traits of all five non-viral races to waste his time scolding her.
It was certainly a fascinating discovery. Certainly, there was no way he was going to miss out on it! A little girl of around the same age claiming to be a researcher as well had already reached her first, and seemed to be acting in a calm and reasonable manner. At least, that was what he was going to call it, considering that the last person to question her had received a ruptured abdomen for his trouble. "Let me through. I'm a Doctor." He said as he shoved past the people standing in the way. Standing next to Rosie and reaching up to intentionally change his personality. "Hello! Everything's going to be just fine! You want to play a little bit? Sure! What would you like to play?" Asked the now cheerful doctor eagerly. Praying that the next words out of her mouth would be 'Operation'.
Celsus meanwhile had not moved since arriving at the tunnel entrance. He had not followed after his friends, nor did he have any intention to. There were still a great number of Viruses swarming near the surface. So many, in fact, that it was actually safer to be inside the tunnel. Most of the original raiding party who had not retreated down the tunnel were already dead. And some of the Viruses were now attempting to re-enter the nest themselves. With a slash of his rapier, he deflected them with a shroud-like screen of reflective water, stabbing his rapier through the mirrored curtain from the other side, driving them back with swipes and thrusts from his silver sword. Like a mirror, Celsus deflected their own assault back at them, preventing his allies inside the tunnel from having their escape cut off by an attack from behind. Thanks to the chip the Leech had given him from that last large Virus they had killed before, he could afford to defend the tunnel for a long time yet.
"Hurry on through!" He called out to the Siren who was approaching, shattering a section of the barrier so that she could pass through safely. She was not one of the Virus-sympathizers, but they were also still out there. Even now Celsus was on the lookout for the naive effeminate child who seemed determined to impede the VDF in their righteous mission. His gaze still spread out across more than half the battlefield, Celsus could see to coward leaving, but warily expected that he might come back. His two traitorous allies, the blue-haired girl, and the man whom he'd fought alongside before, would not be allowed to pass. If they tried, he would not hesitate to drive them back using their own misguided power. It was his duty. To the world, to Leanne, and to Odine Aurum. Sealing the wall of water back up again as the Siren passed through, Celsus lunged forwards and pierced the heart of one of the Viruses pressed up against the surface of the barrier. Stabbing the creature again and again, his human eye narrowed with a ferocity one would have thought impossible for one without emotion. "An eye for an eye." He whispered hatefully through his bandaged mouth as the creature fell backwards, flattening several other Viruses in it's violent death-throes.

Ayame gave a nod as she acknowledged the hollow's statement. Voices of yelling, shouting and such could be heard out side the tunnel while the inside seemed quite calmer. The war was far from over. She quickened her pace as she reached one end on the tunnel from where many different routes could be seen. All shut with a gate and further inside where the fighters had congregated, well lit lights made it easier to know where one was going. Strange, Viruses were all ways thought to live a primitive life... she thought as her gaze kept shifting from the gates to the lighting and then to the fighters who had settled in front on the main gate. Slightly pushing her way in,, the sight was strange indeed. A "creature" who stood behind the gate containing all traits of the four races, a child who held a doll, self proclaiming she was some scientist and a doctor who wanted to...play?
She sighed as she had no idea what was going on. The 'scientist' opened the door allowing the girl out. Ayame wasn't sure what to make. Many question began to make her wonder - who this girl was? Who was this girl? Why was she locked here? Why did the viruses keep her here? They didn't kill or convert her by now? Or was it that...they couldn't kill her? Was she a virus? If so, she was able to completely control her distortion? However, they wasn't time to ask such questions. But if she was a virus, the outcome of helping her may be disastrous or may even help them. "Why did they keep you here?" she asked after carefully thinking out her question. Her voice down and polite as she smiled. She payed no heed to the scientist's warning or the doctor's question. She hoped the girl wouldn't be burden with such questions. The answer the 'creature' may as well be a reply to most of her question. She stared directly at the girl taking an estimation of her age, six - seven years old perhaps but may as well have a good answer to why she was here.

There was too much going on at once. So much chaos, noise, activity. The leech wasn’t sure what to do, he was just so angry at Angel for doing this. There had to be a better way! But that stupid boy was relentless in his line of thought, he wouldn’t stop. “If this continues, we’ll be on the highway to hell.” He whispered, eyes watching the scene in confusion. He would not attack anyone, as he was on neither side. He was only here to help find a way to stop the Viruses, but they were not attacking him- yet. Aroku looked around, watching as members walked further into the tunnels into the darkness that revealed farther off cells of sorts. If Angel was going to be such a reckless fool, he would no longer speak to someone who was not willing to listen. Angel… for his own good, Aroku was going to let him do as he wished and silence himself- no matter how much it pained him. “If only you realized that you are only hurting us further- you imbecile.”
He looked down at the girl that Angel had called Holly, thinking for a moment. She looked rather innocent and hesitant to fight- at least to him. Her face looked rather sad as if preset that way, her skin flawless and her long light blue hair framing her face with redish brown eyes that seemed to stare distantly, the tips of her long ears showing from the long tresses of hair. Aroku sighed. She wasn’t a little girl, obviously, but there was still that silence she kept to herself. “Holly- was it…?” He started, “Let Angel do as he wishes… Go with the group, it’s safer in here than outside.” He said, walking her partway towards the group that had found the strange child. He noticed her experimental body quickly, but he could not stay here. “Angel will be fine… he’s an idiot, but he has some skill.” Aroku stopped walking, motioning for her to go to the group a small walk away.
“Stay safe.” He said, then unfolded his wings from his back and flew through the tunnel quickly, his wings giving an eerie blue glow to the tunnel as he flew to the spot where Angel had mentioned and quickly flew up the tunnel, disappearing from sight as he urged forward as quick as possible. There were still people outside in trouble- since he had failed to convince Angel, he would not waste his time on that boy any longer, where as he could help people out here who would actually take his offers. Angel… Aroku still couldn’t get his mind off the boy even as he tried to forget about him. He was just so frustrating…
Aroku burst through the tundra of the tunnel, flying through the grass and finding he was outside again upon the hill just ahead of the entrance with the large savanna tree hovering about him. But that was not the only thing. A hollow was there as well, three in fact! Each having skin of pure silver with a single wing and long flowing dresses and hair with flawless skin and form. Aroku stalled his wings, trying to stop, but had no time as the woman did a wheel kick and connected with his chest, sending him flying back. He couldn’t tell where he was headed, the sudden confusion making him clueless. He tumbled down the hill, hitting ground, grass, and rock repetitively. A small dust trailing behind him from his momentum. Aroku saw the world spinning around him for a moment, feeling his body crash against the slanted ground until he smashed right into the bandaged hollow from before and bringing him to the ground with him.
The leech lay there stunned, his body aching. As if it wasn’t enough with all the distortion about, now he just got his ass kicked by a girl. “Shit….” he muttered, coughing slightly as he tried to will his body up. “I come out to help and this is what I get.” He said, silently blaming Angel for all of this. He went in to see if he could convince the boy to stop this, and all that boy did was turn his back on him and fight his comrades in front of him. Could he not understand!? He was helping kill people… he was killing people for the viruses! Anger finally boiled up under his beaten skin, his core trembling with hurt and rage. The viruses were the cause of everything and that boy was willingly helping them obliterate people. What kind of person could do that!? It’s all the viruses fault. It was their fault.
Aroku was just about out of energy, and he couldn’t get up. The three hollow casually walked over to the two, looming over them. “You are not on the Virus’s side, leech.” The three stated with venom. The middle’s arm molded into a sharp sword and she pointed it at them. “Surrender or die.” Aroku stared up at them, hand slowly slipping into his pocket and crushing the chip in his hand, absorbing it’s energy.
“I’m so sorry, I’d rather die than surrender to these abomiantions!” Aroku’s calm serious demeanor had changed to scorn, unbelievable anger, rash behavior to kill. Aroku got to his feet, drawing his sword and charging at the three hollow. He clashed with the middle, who has her arm raised to defend his attack. She didn’t even skid back as Aroku pressed as hard as he could against her with the edge of his blade. “Die!” Aroku broke their sword contact and thrashed his sword at her, clashing with her arm again. She side stepped, sliding her sword from his and grabbing him with one hand, lifting him up from the ground. Aroku gritted his teeth, desperate to kill viruses and anyone who tried to help them. But these woman were advanced… Aroku took the moment to run his sword through the woman’s chest, tearing his blade through her body and started to pull it up, trying to cleave her in half.
The second, the youngest, stopped the blade, her hand grasped around the sword. The middle, Skuld, tossed him aside, ripping his grip from his sword and causing him to crash to the ground again. Aroku grimaced, pulling himself up to his hands and knees as Viruses began to surround him… Aroku’s eyes gazed at the three hollow… how could he have not killed her with such a blow? He watched as Skuld tore the sword from her body, a large gash from her stomach to her chest showing the wires underneath that sparkled with lively conductivity. She tossed the sword aside and let it clatter to the floor.

Elizabeth nodded at the words of the red-headed Leech. She looked down a bit, passing a last glance towards Angel, before following him towards the rest of the group. A part of her just wanted to get out of there, but he was probably right. "Thank you..." She nodded quietly as he was about to leave, thinking about saying something more before she suddenly caught sight of the strange girl up ahead, her eyes widening as she stared at her and others silently. Sofia didn't say anything as the protesters began to retreat. Just watching as she once again lowered her gun, not going to fire it anymore unless they proved a threat. She hesitated as the Leech lead the female Siren towards the others, but decided that she didn't seem like she'd cause harm to the others. The Leech himself rushed back outside the tunnel afterwards. Wanting to make sure that he wasn't going to try anything, the VDF soldier followed him, taking out a few minor Viruses still outside as she exited. What took her back, though, was the sight of three Hollow who looked identical in appearance, hovering threateningly over the Leech. It'd seemed like he was fighting against those still trying to protect the Viruses, now. Sofia made a dash for his blade where it lay on the ground, picking it up and tossing it to him. "Here!" She called out, hoping he'd catch it again. As soon as she threw it, she shot out bullets in the direction of the three Hollow. ...Why were there three? Skye and Leanne both looked around in bewilderment at the locked gates and lights illuminating the tunnel around them. The further they ventured in, the less the nest looked like the primitive den they'd expected. It was the sudden sound of Siren's song that made them both tense, though. Where was it coming from? And who would sing in a place like this? Looking around, they didn't see anyone from their group singing the song - it sounded like it was coming from behind one of the doors. The two followed the General to it. The voice was coming from a girl there who not only had the song of a Siren, but features from every race. Leanne just stared wide-eyed, and Skye's mouth gaped. What was she? No one seemed to know, even the General acting alarmed. A couple of the scientists, a young girl and the somewhat odd Hollow both took an eager interest, though. The Leech and Beast watched the arguing unfold as the young girl scientist tried to unlock the door. There was a bit of going back and forth, but eventually the door was unlocked. Leanne scoffed, taking an instinctive step back. She had to admit that she was curious, but... "What're you doing?" She accused at the young scientist who'd unlocked the door. "There's obviously something wrong with that girl!" The multi featured girl clearly wasn't normal, and that made the Leech uneasy. Skye also shuffled his feet anxiously, but was oddly fascinated by the odd, younger girl, staring at her with a slightly tilted head as he awaited her answers to the other's questions. He was ready to fly off at the slightest hint of danger, though, but for the moment he was more curious than anything. [/blockquote]

------------------------------------------NPC EVENT------------------------------------------
Still seeming bewildered, the General didn't do much to either help or stop the young girl scientist as she reached to open the door.
The odd, multi-featured girl more or less ignored the comments from John and Leanne, waiting happily as Rosie unlocked the door. Creaking it open, she cautiously stepped outside. "Thank you, my name is Arabelle." She grinned, answering Rosie's first question. She looked slightly nervous, though, as she stared out at the others, and she was obviously on high alert as she glanced around, her gaze flighty. Eventually, however, she looked up towards Benton. "I'll play anything you want to! It's been so long since I've had a playmate!" She answered happily, not seeming to sense his perhaps ulterior motives as her nervousness seemed to slowly be disappearing just slightly. She also glanced in Ayame's direction as she spoke. She was quiet for a moment again after that, though, as if she was thinking carefully about her response. She looked down a bit. "I don't really know...I was told that if I didn't want to be sick anymore, I needed to stay here for while, until they told me I could leave." A determined frown came over the girl's finely featured face. "But I don't even feel sick anymore - I'm tired of staying here!" As if on cue, the girl's voice suddenly trailed off, twitching her Beast-like fox ears in the direction of the rest of the tunnel ahead. "They're coming!" She suddenly called out in alarm, all at once casting a barrier that resembled that of null user as more Viruses appeared from further up in the tunnel. A huge wave of amplified distortion was sent their way, but the girl's barrier absorbed it effortlessly. She immediately sent out a wave of fire afterwards, proving that just as she wasn't bound to one race, she wasn't bound to one attribute, either, as the signed Viruses cried out in pain. "I'm not going back!" She called out defiantly, before all at once propelling herself in the direction of the tunnel's entrance with her Leech-like wings, seemingly forgetting about the others in her panic and haste as she vanished. She didn't pay much notice to any of the other fighters or the conflict going on further down, either, as she frantically rushed away. Most of the Viruses, undeterred, immediately went after her, rushing passed the rest of the fighters, but the tunnel suddenly began rumbling from inside its walls. With a loud hiss, a huge, snake-like Virus stuck it's head through the soil of one of the walls, using it's long body to create a gate of sorts in the open space of the tunnel that cut the others off from the entrance. It's tongue lashing hungrily, it glared at the others. Even if most of the Viruses who'd been waiting inside were now preoccupied, it didn't look like they were going to get away freely after letting her out.
